David, Denise, & Jessica's

World Wide Wedding Album

On June 20, 1998, at 7:00 pm, David Field and Denise McDevitt were wed at the Pavilion on the beach at
58th Street and Central Avenue in Ocean City, NJ. A mere eight minutes before the ceremony was to start, there was lightning, thunder, pouring rain, and in some parts of Cape May County, there was even hail. God was testing David and Denise's resolve to have their special day outside on the beach. They wavered a little, but in the end, they refused to give in. God rewarded their faith by stopping the rain and having the setting sun come out just as the wedding ceremony was finishing. Amen.
